The position is full time, salaried, and falls under the Exempt status as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. Within one-year working test period must pass State of Georgia Water Distribution Certification. Possession of a valid Georgia driver’s license or any license deemed for a specific job. Any equivalent combination of education and experience. One or more crewmen may assist employees in this class.
Verbal work orders are issued and work is inspected frequently. Work involves more than usual physical strength and endurance and is usually performed under close supervision.
